Trying ROTC freshman year helped me understand some of the sacrifices that servicemen and servicewomen make to defend our great nation

You can get daily relief from leftist loonies on compus by listening to talk radio whenever possible & reading the Purdue Review

Ask your professors tough questions & watch them stumble

Don’t just read class material, find books which interest you (I learned so much more on my own)

Have enlightening political discussions with your friends & classmates… Then you will see who tends to be more tolerant of differing political views

Don’t say you’re a ‘Moderate’ on your Facebook profile because you don’t want to offend anyone; be proud of what you stand for

Laugh at people who camp out in the memorial mall for no apparent reason

Warning: Odwalla Chocolate Milk is gross- I found out it was soy milk AFTER I almost puked it up freshman year

Eating plenty of hamburgers at the dining halls is not bad for the earth; cow flatulence is not causing a climate crisis

People who try really hard to appear smart in class never are

Volunteering with kids is a fun stress reliever

Joining random clubs is a great way to meet people outside of your major

People don’t eat breakfast at Breakfast Club

Be proud of the fact that you chose to attend a more conservative college campus, but be aware that the left is always a threat
